Driving In

  • From Hwy 247 (Old Woman Springs Rd), turn north onto Boone Road.
  • Stay on Boone for about 2 miles. At the fork where you'll see The Forty, bear right onto Pistachio Rd and head straight east ½ mile.
  • Look for the STO Fest sign, then turn left and roll ¼ mile north to the Lasertown entrance.
  • Heads up: your maps app will likely send you up Daransette Road. Skip it — take Boone Road and follow the map.
  • Fuel, groceries, and water are easiest in Yucca Valley or Lucerne Valley.
  • Cell service is spotty out here. Download your directions before the last stretch of highway.

At the Gate

  • Pull up slowly and tell them the names of everyone in the vehicle. They'll need the names you registered with.
  • A crew member will check you in and guide you to your camping area.
  • Keep it slow and dusty-free — 5 mph inside the gates.
